PUB has introduced a new mascot, Water Sally, as part of our year-long water conversation campaign and create more engagement opportunities to drive awareness and reinforce sustainability messages specifically to our school-going children and youths.

With the launch of Water Wally’s younger sister, PUB will also launch Singapore’s first water-themed club in early 2021 to nurture little water champions aged 12 and below to learn about water conservation through interactive and fun activities. Parents and educators will be interested to learn more about the line-up of exciting engagement opportunities, including contests and partnerships with merchants. Time Capsule of Singapore Flyer

Singapore Flyer today unveiled its newest attraction, Time Capsule – an immersive and multisensory attraction offering guests who visit the opportunity to rediscover the Singapore Story.

The Time Capsule spans across two levels and is a complementary addition to the Singapore Flyer. It draws on the concept of time travel taking guests through a journey through Singapore’s 700-year history.  

At the end of the journey and upon stepping into the Giant Observation Wheel, guests will be able to witness Singapore’s transformation at the height of 165 metres. For more information, click here.

#HighFive with Singa at Waterway Point

To celebrate this festive spirit throughout the community, Waterway Point and the Singapore Kindness Movement are inviting shoppers to spread joy, warmth and hope through a thoughtful campaign titled #HighFive with Singa this Christmas!. As part of the campaign, a unique four-metre tall Singa Christmas Tree will be on display at Waterway Point in the month of December, together with videos of community leaders and school children pledging their acts of kindness and encouragement for others.

‘Once Upon A Time on The Orient Express’ at The Gardens by The Bay

Following the 2014 exhibition in Paris that detailed the history of the Orient Express, Singapore has been chosen by the Orient Express as the first destination outside of France to kick-start a series of showcase that unveils a fairy-tale universe related to travel, culture and gastronomy. A historical and educational presentation for all ages, the pop-up attraction “Once Upon A Time on The Orient Express” will open in Singapore on 12 December 2020 at the West Lawn (next to Bayfront Plaza), Gardens by the Bay, until June 2021.

A luxury train service created in 1883, Orient Express remains the epitome of luxury travel and refinement. “Once Upon A Time on The Orient Express” will present some of the most extraordinary objects and documents to showcase centuries old of history that retraces the legacy of the train, allowing visitors to discover events that had transformed the world and shaped the map. They can also relive the emotions of travellers who have boarded the Orient Express through a reconstituted train platform and showrooms where they can embark on fascinating journeys displayed in evocative giant trunks that encapsulates the history of the Orient Express.
