Beauty Hope@Life Essesntial – BH Yoga Facial Review

I regularly try and do facials to maintain my skin. I have sensitive skin with dry patches and open pores so it is needed that this issue remains well-managed.

I have package with some other salon but don’t mind experimenting with other salons / treatments too.
When I got this complimentary voucher invite from Beauty Hope for “BH Yoga Facial”, the first thing that caught my attention was the word “Yoga”. This was something unique than the usual jargon of diamond peel, IPL, refreshing facial etc..
Then what? Quickly reserved one slot and went for the treatment. Chose their Ang Mo Kio outlet cause that was covenient for me.
It is a nice shophouse in the AMK central where Beuaty Hope is.

After filling up of forms, Senior Consultant J asked me a few questions about my beauty routine and introduced me to S.

S took me to the room – nice and clean – for the facial.

After double-cleansing, she applied oxygen mask for lightening and then applied cream to soften the dead cells. She said they don’t use steam because it dries the skin. So once the skin was softened, S did extraction of black heads and other impurities. No problem with this routine though I must say steaming is something I personally prefer.

After cleaning the face, massage was the next step. After some light hand-massage, there came the “Cupping”. In cupping, suction cup is used. It is a special therapeutic technique where the suction of the cups mobilizes blood flow. Cupping finds its roots in the ancient Chinese, Egyptian medicines.

Usually, Cupping is used in Body Massage but at Beauty Hope, they use it for facials as well. It simulates blood circulation and promotes firming up of the skin. I liked cupping. When S used suction cups on the face, it felt good! After cupping for 2-3 minutes, She applied cooling mask and rest for 15-20 minutes. I think I Zzzzzzzed for this period. LOL.

A bit of scalp, shoulder massage, application of toner, moisturizer, sun block and done! Face looking clean, fresh after the Beauty Hope Yoga Facial. 🙂 🙂

After the session, Senior Consultant J explained Beauty Hope packages. I would say that Beauty Hope is affordable compared to some other spas / salons I have been too.

Overall, I would rate this experience 3.75 out of 5. Worth trying!

Interesting that cupping was done on the face. Were there any marks after that? That would be down time for me.
